Among the services we provide to architects, developers, and building owners are:

Construction administration
While construction administration is a normal responsibility of structural engineers, Riverstone Structural Concepts brings a unique perspective to it. Both company President Patrick Bird and Senior Associate Dave Fulton grew up in family-run construction companies, giving them a hands-on understanding of the challenges contractors face during a project.
Structural investigations
Upon request by building owners or insurance companies, Riverstone conducts detailed inspections of structures that show signs of distress either from age or an event, like an earthquake. We investigate the structure’s condition, report on its current status, and make recommendations for repair or replacement. We also perform investigations when alterations are planned to a structure to accommodate new tenant requirements, remodeling, or changes to building codes.
Structural insurance claim support
RiverStone also serves as an independent, third-party reviewer following a structural failure. We determine the cause of the failure, how long the forces that caused the failure were present, and the best way to repair the failure.
